All services we deliver to you will be defined in a schedule of work as part of a formal contract. We will not undertake any work until we have a formal letter of understanding which we will then expect to be further reinforced with a formal contract, within a reasonable timeframe which we will agree with you in advance.
How we expect to be rewarded for the services we provide can vary dramatically from one piece of work to another. Below are some of the reward mechanisms we will intelligently consider with you:
payment on results - for good reason this is an attractive option for businesses trying to manage cashflow. The downside, often overlooked, is that you may pay more than you would have done by simply paying for services as delivered. The upside is that it’s in our interest to ensure you achieve the results you’re looking for.
payment for services delivered - this is a standard supplier customer type arrangement where fees are agreed for the service you engage us for.
joint venture share - for some work this is an option we will consider and discuss with you, if we believe it is in our mutual interests. This arrangement involves us delivering services in return for a share in revenue. This has obvious commercial advantages, as well as challenges.
equity share - this is at the extreme end of our attitude towards how we are rewarded for the services we provide. This involves us taking an equity share in your business, in return for providing services that help you build and grow your business. This can offer a cost effective and mutually beneficial way of accelerating business ambitions, without eroding valuable capital reserves.
Sensible and intelligent consideration of some options can only be possible once a reliable view is formed of what the opportunities and challenges are. This means that most initial pieces of work will be undertaken on a straightforward fees for work done basis.
All initial work will be subject to discussions with you that culminate in an agreed scoping paper with associated quote for work involved.
