Our Beginnings

BKARM was established in late 2003. The intentions at that time were very simple, and to a great extent remain so. We wanted to explore the full extent of the internet, from a business and a consumer perspective. We had a great deal of experience of how big business viewed the internet and the opportunities that e-commerce offered to establish a new channel through which to sell to consumers and to streamline relationships with suppliers. What we didn’t necessarily have a depth of experience in was creating completely new ventures using the opportunities the internet offered. Combining acquired knowledge and experience with “think” skills we set about exploring what could realistically be done. With some very big learns along the way we remain committed to the journey we embarked on.

Our Journey

Our journey remains one of exploring new avenues while establishing new internet based ventures, for ourselves and for others. We are not web designers, we are online business and community builders. We have built completely new business channels for some customers, we have helped others extend their fledging online presence and we have created membership sites.

What we now know

What we now know is how to identify what is likely to work and what isn’t, how to correctly shape worthwhile opportunities, how to make them happen and how to sustain them. Our business is a mix of making the internet work for us as well as our customers. We think this gives us an edge that other businesses choose to ignore.
